How to properly shampoo your Virgin hair extensions.
Don't know how to shampoo your virgin hair extensions?
First off, Id like to say I shampoo my extensions at least once a week. Now most of my clients of course shampoo bi-weekly and still have amazing results and life for their extension. Here is everything you need to know!
1.) Your first shampoo should always be a CLEANSING, CLARIFYING, DETOXING, CHELATING shampoo. One of these words MUST be displayed on the bottle. DO NOT massage, you always want to make sure your shampooing your extensions in a downward motion. Next, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
2.) Your next shampoo should be a MOISTURIZING, CONDITIONING shampoo. its MUST say one of these words. This is very important! What this step does is redeposit all the moisture back into the hair that was previously removed by the !st shampoo. Next, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
3.) Repeat step 2. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
4.) Apply conditioner, comb through with a wide tooth comb, starting with the ends working your way up you scalp. Rinse thoroughly with COOL WATER! locking in MOISTURE and SEALING CUTICLES so that the moisture doesn't escape and your SABeauty Bundles Stay POPPIN!!
5.) Let air dry
QUICK TIP for Wavy & Curly hair extensions!
For a “WET” look, we suggest a leave in conditioner & water. AVOID ALCOHOL BASED PRODUCTS TO AVOID DRYING OUT YOUR INVESTMENT! Dampen hair with a water bottle. Comb with a wide tooth comb, beginning at the ends and working your way up. Scrunch up hair, placing ends into palm of hand and push up towards scalp to reform curls. Let air dry
