Most of us a VERY familiar with Brazilian hair but what do you know about raw hair? Not much I'm sure. Here's what you need to know.
Raw hair is very rare while Brazilian hair is very common. I know you have the question, "which one is better?". The question we should often ask is, which one is the best fit for you.
Although Brazilian and Raw (Cambodian and Indian hair) are both considered "Virgin" its best I break down the terms to provide you babes with a better understanding. Cool? Lets get to it!
What is Virgin Hair?
Virgin hair is hair that is not chemically processed. It has never been permed, dyed or bleached. All the cuticles of the hair face the same direction. This type of hair is MOST popular because you can treat this hair just as if it were your own. That includes coloring, cutting and styling as desired. With proper care MOST extensions will last approximately 6 months to 1 year.
Brazilian Virgin har blends with ALL textures! Even those with extremely thick manes, relaxed or natural. Its well know for its luster, softness and thickness. The difference between Raw and Virgin hair is that Virgin hair is steamed to achieve different textures such as body wave, deep curly, loose curly etc.
What is Raw hair?
Raw hair has the same qualities of virgin hair. The difference is that it has never been chemically processed and no heat has never applied. It is the MOST natural hair on the market. This hair is cut off a donor’s head, wefted and cleansed.
Our most popular Raw extensions are our Cambodian wavy/curly from the women in Phnom Penh. One of the reasons why we love Cambodian hair is because of the high quality. Cambodian hair is soft and silky. It comes in wavy/curly and curly. When purchasing Raw hair it is important to understand that no bundle is identical to another. However, we select each bundle carefully to provide that perfect head on hair! It has a low luster when compared to Indian and Brazilian hair which is why a lot of babes love it! Blends perfectly with your natural hair even on a bad day and last anywhere from 2-3 years. OK!
Trying to decide which is best for you?
l'll be honest, I LOVE them both. I usually wear the Brazilian textures in the cooler months and switch the curlier or wavy Raw extensions when the heats get turned up! Vacay ready! Ok, Lets get serious. My suggestion Brazilian hair is NEVER a bad idea. If you are going for a more sleek look thats your go to! If your one of those babes that wants to be young wild and free, say it with me... "RAW HAIR IS FOR ME"!
